The project involved the construction of 4 no. detached 4 bedroom family homes, set around a central shared surface courtyard space. Occupying the site of a disused tennis club, significant planning constraints were overcome to complete the build in the picturesque conservation village of Eaglesham. Designed to complement the traditional surrounding village vernacular, Grant Murray worked closely with the developer & the local planning department to provide spacious modern living whilst contributing to the character of the local area.

The houses were designed to reflect the local 1.5 storey cottage form with a render finish & traditional stone detailing. Each house is specified to a high standard from the highly insulated & sustainable construction down to the kitchen & bathroom design.
