Located on Dalmusternock Farm, Fenwick, the project grants a new lease of life to a derelict byre structure. The design solution endeavours to improve the aesthetic of the existing byre & introduces a contemporary design through the new extension, which cantilevers over the adjacent burn. This offers a unique feature to the design whilst at the same time integrates the new dwelling into the natural landscape. The nearby watercourse is captured through feature glazing within the new living space, offering spectacular views. Indeed the proposals sought out to enhance the property with a high end modern specification, without compromising on the overall quality & heritage of the surrounding environment.
