Development of 87no. newbuild dwellings for social rent
The project at Ivanhoe drive completes phase 3 of the masterplan for the regeneration of the Hillhead area. The design process involved close consultation with both the local planning authority and local residents, and was driven from the outset by a desire to create a high quality built environment, that all new and existing residents are proud to be associated with. Key to the final design is the introduction of strong and attractive through links, to enhance access and egress of the new development whilst ensuring effective integration with the surrounding area. A bespoke play area and sculpture produced in collaboration with local school children, forms the hub of the new neighbourhood.
