Feasibility study exploring the redevelopment of Beechgrove Park, Mauchline to accommodate a new sport centre and community facility.
The study ran alongside a community consultation exercise to establish the needs of the town following the proposed closure of existing community facilities. It was found the redevelopment of Beechgrove Park in the centre of the town to house a purpose built sport centre, community space, gym and outdoor pitches best met the demand of the local population.
The study also included investigating the formalisation of walking routes surrounding the town resulting in providing promotional and presentation material for funding applications.
