The project comprised of the site of the former St. Judes primary school along with a vacant plot of land next to the Calvay Centre, for which Grant Murray completed an extension to in 2007. The St. Judes element provides 71 new homes, all orientated around a large, extensively landscaped area of open space. This not only offers a strong 'sense of place' to the scheme, but also creates an attractive outlook for all the properties. The remaining element consists of 10 new flats, including 5 specially designed wheelchair units, intended to complete the streetscape in an attractive manner whilst providing much needed amenity housing to the area.
