New community hub, community garden and resident's accommodation
Situated on a challenging narrow site with limited outlook, the demanding brief calls for the formation of a new community hub building, external recreation spaces, community garden, workshops and 4 no. sheltered housing units. The concept utilises a 'string of pearls' approach with an unbroken 3m wide pedestrian route forming the connecting 'spine' between the various facilities.
The proposals will not only completely transform an extremely dilapidated corner of Denny, it will see the creation of a range of exciting and positive community facilities within a new modern complex.
